The word Pumula means "Resting Place", a perfect way to describe this self catering unit situated in a quiet leafy street in Duke Street, Margate.
A two minute walk brings you to Margate beach.
It is a fully furnished self-catering 2-bedroom apartment that is equipped for up to 6 people. It consists of a main bedroom with a double bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds and in the living room is a very comfortable sofa bed.
The well-equipped kitchen contains a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, crockery and cutlery for all those holiday breakfasts and sundowner braais at the communal braai area outside. The unit also has a comfortable lounge area with TV (usual channels + M-Net), lounge suite and dining table and the bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower attachment, washbasin and toilet.
There is a Laundromat within walking distance of the complex and the unit is serviced daily. All linen is supplied and you will be required to bring your own towels.
A wide variety of shops which are also within walking distance and Spar is a 5minute drive away. Parking is available for one car inside the complex on the lawn (no garage) and with the beach being 50m away you can just walk anywhere.
Margate is one of South Africa's top holiday destinations. There is plenty to do for everyone. The Wild Coast Casino is a 20minute drive away and for nature lovers the Oribi Gorge is renown for it's hiking trails, bird watching and for the daring it has bungee jumping. With restaurants, nightclubs, the beach, the warm sea and friendly people, Margate certainly is a tropical paradise.
